Adding a regular sight test to your life is important. Every two years is ideal. Quitting smoking and eating healthy foods are simple steps you can take to reduce your risk of sight loss. Always protect your eyes in the sun, and if you wear contacts make sure you look after them properly. If you work with hazardous or airborne materials, wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from injury, and if you work with a computer screen take regular breaks to keep your eyes feeling fresh and bright.
