Did you know that as a Pembrokeshire Library member you can access a range of e-lending service and research sites for Free, many 24 hours a day 7 days a week from the comfort of your own home?

You can borrow e-Books, e-Audio Books, e-Magazines and Comics;  access fun learning resources for children; prepare for your driving test, and discover new authors to read.

In addition, as a member of Pembrokeshire Libraries, you get access to a whole range of online Newspapers, online reference resources, journals and publications via the National Library of Wales Online Resources Service


Also available within our Library Branches is access to Find my Past and to help with your local and family history research, as well as Access2Research giving access to a range of academic research, periodicals and journals.

Digital Champion Volunteers

Pembrokeshire Libraries work with a team of Digital Champion volunteers who deliver two different sessions: 

First Click

A 6 hour course that teaches the basics of using a computer. The course is normally divided over two days and covers the essential elements of using a keyboard; using a mouse; accessing the internet; staying safe online and setting up and using an email account.

First Click is run every 4 to 8 weeks. Booking is essential, please contact your local library for available dates and to book a place.

Gadget Drop In

Our Digital Champion Volunteers are on hand to offer friendly help and support on a variety of topics. They can help you to set up and use a new iPad or Android Tablet; accessing and syncing an email account onto your device; managing your digital photographs etc.

  • Tenby Library - every Monday morning from 10:00 - 12:00
  • Haverfordwest Library - every Wednesday morning from 10:00 - 12:00
  • Milford Haven Library - every Wednesday afternoon from 14:00 - 16:00
  • Fishguard Library - every Thursday morning from 10:00 - 12:00
  • Pembroke Dock Library - every other Wednesday morning from 10:00 - 12:00

(Bookings are taken for Fishguard and Haverfordwest Libraries)
