General waste is rubbish which cannot be recycled, like plastic wrap, polystyrene, plastic containers such as yogurt pots, margarine tubs etc except for plastic bottles...

Pembrokeshire County Council have many options for you to dispose of your general waste. We have a range of bin sizes to choose from; alternatively we have a bag scheme available to those who have limited space to store wheeled bins.

Wheeled Bins

The bins service is ideal for those businesses that have space on site to move and store these types of bins. Wheeled bins have a benefit until the time of collection and are easy to manoeuvre even when full.

660ltr & 1100ltr bins

All of our larger four wheeled bins come fully fitted with easily operated brakes on the front wheels along with a lockable lid. These bins are made from galvanised steel making them hard wearing, resistant to fire and have lockable watertight lids fitted helping to prevent smells and problems with flies and animals.

240ltr bins

Our 240ltr bins are ideal for customers that produce smaller quantities of waste. These bins are smaller than our four wheeled bins, but are still very robust and small enough to fit through a standard doorway which allows them to be used/stored either inside or outside.

Bags

Trade waste bags are available to purchase in rolls of 20 from Tenby Town Council or from our Thornton Depot in Milford Haven. Bags can also be requested for delivery by contacting our trade waste section on 01437 764551. All subsequent deliveries of bags after your annual contract renewal carry a small delivery charge of £5.
