Help for Sports Clubs
Sport Wales grants
Sport Wales has three funding opportunities available:
Be Active Wales Fund (opens in a new tab)
This is a grant of between £300 and £50,000 to help you get more people participating, or to help you keep people taking part at your club or activity into the future.
Crowdfunder - A Place for Sport (opens in a new tab)
This is a match-funding opportunity for improvements you want to make at your club or activity that aren't directly related to getting people playing or taking part.
The Energy Saving Grant (opens in a new tab)
The Energy Saving Grant is a pilot grant from Sport Wales, aimed at community clubs who want to make energy-saving improvements. These improvements will not only help reduce clubs’ utility bills but will also make a positive impact on the environment.
Peripatetic P.E. Service
Sport Pembrokeshire provides quality P.E. teachers and sports coaches to deliver curriculum P.E, enrichment sessions and after school clubs in one third of Pembrokeshire primary schools.
Benefits of the service include improvements in pupils' physical literacy, a great range of activity options to pupils, links between the schools and their local community clubs and a consistent quality delivery of P.E.

Disability Sport
We are committed to increasing participation in sport at all levels. We work to promote equality of opportunity for those with physical, sensory and learning disabilities to take part in, and enjoy, sport and physical activity at the level of their choice.
There is a wide range of sporting opportunities available in Pembrokeshire for people with a disability. This brochure contains information on opportunities with Pembrokeshire Leisure, together with opportunities at disability specific clubs and inclusive clubs, all of which have achieved the insport club award.

Active young people
The Active Young People Team at Sport Pembrokeshire strives to make sport and physical activity accessible, engaging and inclusive for children and young people across the county. This includes:
- Offering Young Ambassador programmes where pupils are trained to lead and promote activity in their schools and communities.
- Working with school staff, Early Years settings, and parents to help children develop the motivation and basic movement skills needed to enjoy being active throughout their lives.
- Supporting extra‑curricular clubs and promoting school club links
- Offering holiday provision for children and families, especially in disadvantaged or underserved communities.
- Delivering free weekly after school community multisport sessions during term time
Sport Pembrokeshire - Free multisport sessions:
