To discover the basic skills of glass painting using two different medium and a range of simple techniques. Creating an outline image on glass. Using alcohol ink to create an abstract design. Painting the image. Decorating the abstract design.
A workshop run by local artist, Graham Hadlow. Each workshop has a different theme or area of specialism i.e. Blue sky and cloud; reflections, snow scenes; winter trees; sunsets; cottages and perspective; beaches and breakers, etc...
This course follows the voyages of Captain Cook in the 18th century across the Pacific Ocean and tries to assess the impact of European expansion on the cultures of the peoples he encountered and how it also shaped European concepts of those Pacific peoples.
