To develop the potential which everyone has to draw well from observation. To teach methods of drawing which are useful for oil painting and others which relate to water colour painting. To learn oil, acrylic, gouache and water colour techniques and make finished paintings in these media.
Starting each session with a series of short poses, followed by longer poses, thereby allowing intense study.

Learn drawing, painting and observation skills. The aim of this course is to introduce and engage students with a range of activities involving painting and drawing. Content of courses vary depending on the tutor delivering the course, but generally drawing could cover the use of pencil, pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, etc. Painting could cover the use of oil, acrylic, water colour and mixed media. Themes are often included as specific focus e.g. landscape, seascape, still life, animals, flowers, portrait and figures, architecture, etc. Specific information on course content is available from the centre administering the course.
This qualification covers: the different roles in ensuring that food ingredients and allergens are effectively managed; common allergens and intolerances; procedures relating to the accurate communication of ingredient information, from supplier to consumer; hygiene considerations with regard to allergen and ingredient control; and procedures relating to the control of contamination and cross-contamination of allergenic ingredients.
This course will look at how to get started with the tablet, how to download and use apps, books, games, browse the web, check and write emails. This course covers how to protect privacy and other security features.
