Starting with the local landscape as a beginning and focal point, developing work from observation initially to something which has personal, symbolic and expressive meaning. We will also look at abstraction, working intuitively, mark making, material, stretching paper, and stretching canvas on a stretcher.
Starting each session with a series of short poses, followed by longer poses, thereby allowing intense study.

This course aims to improve your drawing, painting and observation skills in a relaxed atmosphere with as much one to one tuition as possible. Whilst learning basics, students are encouraged to express themselves as individuals.
Suitable for those already working or for those preparing to work. It is also suitable for those who have responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities. This course aims to enable the learner to understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider, also to assess and administer initial first aid in an emergency situation.
A Level 3 Award is available on successful completion of this course.
Learners are required to be 16 or over.

This qualification covers: the different roles in ensuring that food ingredients and allergens are effectively managed; common allergens and intolerances; procedures relating to the accurate communication of ingredient information, from supplier to consumer; hygiene considerations with regard to allergen and ingredient control; and procedures relating to the control of contamination and cross-contamination of allergenic ingredients.
For those that have completed the beginners course, this course will build on the skills already acquired.

This course will look at how to get started with the tablet, how to download and use apps, books, games, browse the web, check and write emails. This course covers how to protect privacy and other security features.
