Pembrokeshire has a diverse population. In the 2011 Census, 63% of respondents stated that they were Christian, 0.4% Muslim, 0.3% Buddhist and o.2% Hindu. There were no recorded numbers for the Sikh or Jewish faiths. Of the remaining population, 27.3% stated that they had no religion, 0.5% other religion and 8.2% did not respond. There are currently 64 different languages spoken in Pembrokeshire schools. Pembrokeshire schools are therefore very diverse, and appreciating this diversity and these differences will be important for schools to factor in with their RVE curriculum design process.
