Community Benefits

Katie John will act as the Social Value Lead on behalf of our Principal Contractor, Andrew Scott Ltd. Katie will be delivering a programme of school engagement activities and engaging with local community groups and organisations. She will also be working with Pembrokeshire County Council to ensure local employment and training opportunities are provided on the project.

Andrew Scott Ltd are committed to ensuring this project delivers a lasting legacy for the Pembrokeshire region and as such will be working in collaboration with Pembrokeshire County Council and Town Councils to deliver additional value to local residents through a programme of community engagement.

Throughout the project Andrew Scott Ltd be working in partnership with local schools and colleges to help inspire the next generation of construction talent and will organise site visits, lessons and workshops, working to ensure engagement delivers on the New Curriculum for Wales.

The community councils of Walwyns Castle, Tiers Cross, Hubberston and Milford Haven Town Council have been consulted on potential benefits that the project could support. Once these have been agreed this page will be updated further.
