The easiest and safest way to pay council tax is by Direct Debit.
Complete and submit the Direct Debit form and we will do the rest.
You will need the following items before you start:
You can choose, from a selection of dates, when you would like the payment to be made each month and decide whether to spread the payment over 10 or 12 months
Before you set up or amend your Direct Debit, you will need to sign in or register for My Account – Your Online Council Account. This will allow you to keep track of all your communications with the council.
This is an automated system which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be led through a series of prompts in English or in Welsh, to select the type of payment, the amount, your credit/debit card details. A receipt number will be issued.
You can make payments for Council Tax, business rates, housing rent and school meals, as well as any bills with a reference number beginning M (miscellaneous) or P (periodic), via this service.
