Pembrokeshire has a Disability Employment Advisor who can help you find work or disability-friendly employers in your area- contact your local Jobcentre for details. The Disability Employment Advisor will be able to give you information on financial assistance available such as Access to Work to help with training or disability adaptation in the workplace. Opportunities change frequently so it is worth keeping in touch with the Advisor.
As well as providing day opportunities, Norman Industries can offer paid employment to people with disability or long term health problems under the Work Choice programme. Work trials are also available to assess your ability to engage in paid work before making a commitment to come off benefits. To access these opportunities you must be referred from the Disability Employment Advisor.
