Pembrokeshire County Council and Tenby and Lower Fishguard Harbours Authority - Audit of Accounts 2022-23

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004, and the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014, (as amended).

  • From 8th January 2024 to 2nd February 2024 inclusive, any Person interested, subject to Section 30 of the Act:-

May inspect and make copies and enquiries relating to the accounts of the above named bodies for the year ended 31 March 2023, and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto by logging into Audit of Accounts 

All enquiries are to be made via our website as detailed above

  • On Tuesday 6th February 2024 at 9.00am the Auditor General for Wales or his representative of Audit Wales, 1 Capital Quarter, Tyndall Street, Cardiff, CF10 4BZ, at the request of any local government elector for the area which the accounts relate will give the elector or his representative an opportunity to question him about the accounts via an online video appointment.  Appointments may be made by either emailing jeremy.saunders@audit.wales or telephoning 02920 829329.
  • Any local government elector for the area to which those accounts relate, or any representatives of his, may attend before the auditor and make objections as to
    • any matter in respect of which the auditor has power to apply for a declaration under Section 32 of the Act;
    • any other matter in respect of which the auditor could make a report under Section 22 of the Act.
  • No objections may be made under (3) above by or on behalf of a local government elector unless the auditor has previously received written notice of the proposed objection and of the grounds on which it is to be made, and a copy of the notice has been sent to the body whose accounts are the subject of audit.
