Dispensation - The Council understands that there may be occasions where a vehicle will need to stop or park at locations that would normally not be permitted. An application fee of £15.75, non-refundable, must accompany any application. In addition a £21 fee will be charged for each space required. A daily dispensation can be obtained at the fee of £10.50 a day, up to a maximum of 2 days. It would then be £36.75 for up to 7 days and £21 per week, per vehicle, thereafter.

Resident Permit
Permits are restricted to one vehicle per property including any self contained flat or business paying council tax. The permit will also contain details of the scheme it is valid for and the expiry date.
The permit will allow you to compete for a space in the resident parking scheme specified on the permit. It will not allow parking on single or double yellow lines, or in bays set aside for other users (i.e. disabled, taxi) or resident parking in other streets.
