Art - Impressionism and its techniques
This workshop can be completed in oils or acrylics and will explore the use of bright, broken strokes of colour to create the effects of sunshine and weather which impressionists so skilfully conveyed. We’ll look at key paintings in the history of the movement, and adapt the techniques used to create our own Impressionist inspired paintings. Local Pembrokeshire scenes will form a basis for the course, with members free to use their own pictures and sketches for the work produced. Participants are required to supply their own materials and although not mandatory have some knowledge of representational landscape painting.
