The International Certification of Digital Literacy (ICDL) syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace and society. It is suitable for anyone who already possesses basic IT skills. It is broken down into modules, each of which must be passed before an ICDL certificate is awarded. Depending on modules taken, there are different qualifications available.
