Complaints relating to Freedom of Information

If you want to complain that we have not provided you with the information requested or about a delay, in the provision of the information, please contact Katy Holman, Information Governance and Freedom of Information Officer on 01437 775380 or

  • You will receive an acknowledgement within three working days
  • An independent Review Panel will investigate your complaint within 20 working days. If we are unable to reply within 20 working days we will write to tell you why and when you can expect a full reply

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner, an independent person appointed by the government to look into complaints relating to the Freedom of Information Act.

The Commissioner will want to know if your complaint can be settled between yourself and Pembrokeshire County Council before starting an investigation.
