Child Trafficking Workshop

Designed for:

This half day workshop is aimed at professionals who work with children in different settings including social care, police, education, health, immigration, law enforcement, youth justice and non-statuary agencies.


Course aim:

The training will cover the definition of child trafficking, the National Referral Mechanism, indicators of child trafficking and different forms of exploitation, resources available to professionals and examples of good practice across the country. The above content will be delivered in an interactive mode using case studies, DVD and art work created by young people.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Direct Care Workers who have been designated a workplace First Aider.


Course aim:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to administer Emergency First Aid in the Workplace. This course must be repeated every three years to remain valid.


Please note: as this is an accredited course attendees will be assessed throughout the day and all attendees need to produce a form of photo ID to the trainer, for example: Passport, Driving License, ‘Proof of Age’ card, Work Identification Card, Rail Card, Student Union Card, Foreign ID Card, EU Card or Disability Card.
