The Airport is located adjacent to the A40 trunk road just two miles north of Haverfordwest. Situated in the middle of the picturesque county of Pembrokeshire you are within easy reach of truly magnificent rolling county-side and spectacular beaches. The Pembrokeshire coast National Park also affords some of the most breathtaking coastal walks in the U.K.
In January 1974 Withybush Aerodrome, as it was then called, was licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority. Since then both Dyfed County Council and the 1996 re-established Pembrokeshire County Council continued to plan a steady development programme which has accomplished site improvements and generated further activity.
The airport is wholly owned, licensed and operated by Pembrokeshire County Council. The four permanent staff are Roy Ormond, Terry Gover, Peter Hopkins and Tim Brickwood.
