Pembrokeshire Libraries are definitely more than just books! We have 12 local libraries and three mobile libraries across the County to offer you everything from free internet access to large print and talking books.
Everyone is welcome at all of our local branches. We have friendly, helpful staff available to help you with anything you need to know. We can help you find out about community events, trace your family tree, discover local history or just give you a hand finding a good book!
PCs are available in all our branch libraries and give free access to email, broadband internet, word processing, spreadsheets and document scanning. For a small fee you can print in black and white or colour and photocopy documents. All library members can now book a session on a PC online, by phone or by asking a member of staff.
We offer a book request service so if we haven't got it we will do out best to get it and if you can't get into the library to renew your books in person you can now do it over the phone or online.
We have an online catalogue which includes all the items available in Pembrokeshire libraries. You can search for a particular title or theme and check which library it is in all from the comfort of your own home. We recommend that you contact the library which holds the item to check it is actually available before you make a special journey.
Yes, that's right, library membership is free. Just call into any Pembrokeshire library with
one item that shows your name and current address, e.g. a driving licence, utility bill or other official
document.16s or under
require an adult to act as guarantor and to sign the membership form. Remember once you have joined one
library you have joined them all and can use any library throughout Pembrokeshire.
So with all this on offer, what are you waiting for?
