Pembrokeshire Local Service Board (LSB)

Achieving highly effective public services which maximise gains for citizens requires collaboration between local service organisations. This is complex and has long been recognised as a key strategic challenge for public service reform. 

To address this challenge within Pembrokeshire a Local Service Board (LSB) consisting of leaders, chief executives and representatives from key organisations has been created. The LSB aims to cut across organisational and cultural boundaries therefore developing a ‘public service' which focuses on customers and the type of services they need and want.

The LSB will therefore deliver benefits for the people of Pembrokeshire by strengthening joint working across local public services and ensuring a better response to citizens' needs. The LSB will also improve service delivery by stimulating integration, coordination and collaboration between local, regional and national public services in Wales.
