How to Pay

To make it as easy as possible for you, there are a number of ways to make payments to Pembrokeshire County Council.

Online | By phone | By post | In person | By Direct Debit | Standing Order/Online Banking

Online:

You can pay the following bills online 

You will need any reference numbers you have.

By phone:

You can telephone the Council's Contact Centre on 01437 764551 and pay using a credit/debit card.

Our Contact Centre is open 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri. 

Alternatively you can use the 24 hour automated payment line on 01437 775164.  This is fully bi-lingual and will guide you through the process. 

By post:

You can send a cheque made payable to Pembrokeshire County Council to:

Please note that you will need to write the correct payment reference number on the reverse of the cheque. Failure to provide the correct reference number could lead to a delay in the allocation of the payment to your account.  If you know the name of the department that the payment is for please include this in the address.

We strongly recommend that you do not send cash through the post.  If you would like to pay in cash please see the in person section below.

In person:

You can call into any one of our Customer Service Centres in Milford Haven, Pembroke Dock, Haverfordwest, Fishguard are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Neyland Library and Customer Information Centre is open 915 to 1.15 and 2pm to 4.45pm.

You can pay using cash, cheque, debit or credit card at all of these Centres.

By Direct Debit:

Direct Debit is a simple, convenient and safe way of paying bills and has many advantages over other forms of payment.

  • Setting up a Direct Debit is simple and free, and you can cancel them at any time by contacting your bank and building society
  • You don't have to review your Direct Debit each year
  • Direct Debit is guaranteed by the banks and buildings societies involved, so if a mistake is made you will get a full and immediate refund
  • You will be notified in writing of the amounts, dates and frequency of payments to be deducted from your account and any changes 10 days in advance, to give you time to query them if necessary
  • If the payment details change, there are no new forms to fill in. Simply sign one form and the changes you agree are made automatically

We currently accept Direct Debits for payments of:

  • Council Tax
  • Business Rates (Non-Domestic Rates)
  • Housing rents
  • Domicillary care
  • Pembrokeshire Leisure membership

If you would like to make arrangements to pay by Direct Debit for any of these services please contact us on 01437 764551, stating which service you would like to set up a Direct Debit for.

Standing Order/Online Banking:

if you prefer to pay by either of these methods, the Authority's bank details are given below. Please note that your payment will need to be accompanied by the correct payment reference. Failure to provide the correct reference number could lead to a delay in the allocation of the payment to your account.
