About Us

Newport is the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coast. It lies on the slope of a hill, clustered beneath a Norman Castle, and reaching the sea at Parrog.
Below the town the river Nevern meanders across the wide estuary before entering the sea at Newport Bay. Newport has a small but comprehensive range of shops, craft workshops, excellent Inns and restaurants.

Newport is renowned for its fine walks, boating and sailing, and across the river lies Newport Golf Course, and Newport Beach with its mile long sweep of sands.

There are four places of worship:

St. Mary’s Church, Ebenezer Congregational Chapel, Bethlehem Baptist Chapel, and Tabernacle Presbyterian Chapel.
