Using technology for communication is fast, efficient and popular. This course covers managing an e-mail account, searching the internet and working with image and media files. Accreditation available.

ECDL - Essentials and Extra

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace and society. It is suitable for anyone who already possesses basic IT skills. It is broken down into modules, each of which must be passed before an ECDL certificate is awarded. Depending on modules taken, there are different qualifications available.

ECDL - Spreadsheet software level 1

BCS ITQ level 1 qualification in spreadsheet software is suitable for those who have limited computer skills or have completed an introductory IT course. On this course you will learn how to use Microsoft Excel and gain a Level 1 ECDL unit which can contribute to a Level 1 ECDL qualification.

ECDL Advanced - Spreadsheets

ECDL Advanced is an internationally recognised qualification designed to progress the user's computer skills from ECDL to the next level of competence. ECDL Advanced - Spreadsheets is designed for the individual who would like to realise the full potential of the spreadsheet package - manipulating and analysing data and preparing reports.

Emergency First Aid

Suitable for those already working or for those preparing to work. This course aims to enable the learner to understand the role and responsibilites of a first aider, also to assess and administer initial first aid in an emergency situation. Learners are required to be 16 or over. Award - Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2) Additional costs 14.50 for workbook & certificate. Some venues may offer the Agored Cymru qualification.

ESOL - Citizenship
