A Spring Sale of local history items is being held by Pembrokeshire County Council's Information and Cultural Services Department.
Featured in the sale are a range of books, prints and postcards, with something to appeal to everyone with an interest in the history of the County.
Many of the items have been reduced in price, so now is the best time to buy, with many making ideal Mother's Day or Easter presents.
There's a range of local interest books - find out about the history of the parish of Burton in a book by HJ Dickman, which records snapshots of life relating to transport, education, local families and place names, available for £1. Or compare life "Then and Now" with the photograph/postcard books of Neyland and Fishguard, both £3 each.
There's also a range of other titles, including books on Solva, St. Davids, Rosemarket, or the Great War in When the Poppies Bloom Again.
The postcard pack features 25 postcards, many of which are colour paintings of the key historical sites in Pembrokeshire. These would be good to keep as a memento of a holiday, or to send away to a family member, for £2.50.
Also included are a range of prints in colour or black and white, depicting castles, Tenby and Pembroke Dockyard.
All the books on the sale are available to be viewed at the Reference and Local Studies Library in Haverfordwest.
Details on the books and all other items in the Spring Sale are also provided in a catalogue, which can be viewed at all public libraries in Pembrokeshire.
If you would like your own free copy of the catalogue, please contact George Edwards, Local and Family History Librarian, at George.Edwards@pembrokeshire.gov.uk or (01437) 776126.
