Required for 26 hours per week term time only, on a fixed term contract until
April 2011. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is essential for these
posts Working under the direction of the Headteacher or Classroom Teacher, you will provide support as a member of a team, (or individually), for a pupil on a one to one basis. This will take the form of assisting the Class Teacher through participation in class/ group/ individual lessons. You will also be expected to assist in the preparation of materials and displays, clear away resources as required, and contribute to the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) under the direction of the Class Teacher. A good standard of education, and an understanding of children/ young people's needs and rights, together with experience of working with children and excellent communication skills is essential for this role.
