During the 1800's high quality anthracite coal was discovered in the Saundersfoot area. Such was the demand for this coal that in 1829 Saundersfoot Harbour was built and connected by rail to six mines.
Today Saundersfoot Information Centre is housed in what was once Bonville's Court Colliery Office
where important documents were kept regarding the industry. The centre is easy to locate as the Colliery
Office was built on the Harbour.

Monday to Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm
Winter:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 1.00pm
Beach wheelchairs are available for hire at this Information Centre. Please telephone for more information.
