Scheme Description :
Significant new build and extensive re-modelling works undertaken at the school include:-
- A new 4 classroom teaching block for catering and textile subjects
- A new special needs unit
- Refurbishment of six ground floor classrooms in the main school
- Refurbishment of reception and social areas
- Refurbishment of technology rooms, including additional ICT rooms
- Improved circulation and queuing facilities
- Brie -soleil to the south of the school
- Mechanic, electrical and lift improvements
- Toilet refurbishments
Improved facilities include flat screen PCs, electronic interactive whiteboards, a catering and domestic kitchen, excellent soundproofing; electronically operated windows and high standard replacement desks, chairs and flooring.
Externally, there have been significant improvements to the segregation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic and increased parking facilities.
